A great big thank you to everyone who volunteered, registered, sponsored, and donated to our 2016 Aspire5K event! We are so very grateful to have raised 14k in order to help us continue our mission of educating students with learning differences using our nationally trademarked model of Therapeutically Enhanced Education we created 6 years ago.
A huge hug and thanks for The Aspire5K Committee: Andrea and Kevin Nelson, Randall Hindsley and Alesha White who made the event run smoothly and a whole lot of FUN! Our Board of directors were present along with our FAMilies and friends to help us celebrate 5 years of GOD's provisions though this event. We had over 180 people register for our race and 16 corporate sponsors.
We are so very thankful for our corporate sponsors who made the race possible and gifted us with much needed funds for our school program: Steve Landers Auto Group; Mid-South Adjustments; Irwin and Partners; DON PRESLEY CONSTRUCTION; Residential Realty Group/Steven Young; Maverick USA; Aerotech Machine Corp; First Security Bank; All Children's Therapy; Farmers Insurance/Mike Fason; Banana Graphics; Class A Tooling; Sonic; Go!Running; Road ID; and AR Heart Hospital.
The winners received medals and we were proud to have them at our race: Women's 1st place was Robin Troy, 2nd place was Yin Yan, and 3rd place was Blanca Hernandez. The Men's 1st place went to Tristen Lemons, 2nd place was Ed McNeal, and 3rd place was Donal Harrison.
God gave us such a beautiful day to support and celebrate our students who persevere everyday to overcome their learning differences. The students are the reason there is a need for ACA. ACA is a non-profit school that depends on the generosity of our community to help us...so thank you all very much for all your support and prayers.
